We warmly invite you and your family to stay for Sunday School at 11:00 a.m. following our fellowship time. We have classes for all age groups:
Preschool/Kindergarten - Dana Ford teaches this class of little ones in the Nursery, with bible stories, crafts and activities. She will be using the program Whirl which covers 80 important Old and New Testament stories over 2 years.
Elementary School - Kim Toohey teaches 1st-5thgraders in the Multi-Purpose room. Their lessons begin with a focus on Moses and then continue to learn the books of the Bible. They use maps with their lessons to see where events took place. After each lesson, they will discuss what the biblical event means to us now and work on a craft or project.
Middle School - Melanie Eichner teaches 6th, 7th and 8th graders, using the Echo- the Story curriculum. It features Bible stories from the beginning of the Bible all the way through to the early church. The variety of learning styles encourages our group to wonder, reflect, discuss, explore, and seek out meaningful connections with daily life. We will meet in the multi-purpose room.
High School - High School Youth meet in the Youth Room from 11 a.m. - noon for team-building, Bible study, prayer and preparation for the ELCA Youth Gathering coming up in June 2018. This class will be taught by Leah Schade, Kathy Gosnell and Karen Sorrell.
Adults - Candy Simms leads this group in the youth room by the exit door. They will be watching and discussing “Rick Steves’ Luther and the Reformation”. Keep an eye out for upcoming titles to be studied!
Grace Notes - Laura Piasecki gathers students around the piano in the Nursery at 11:40am and leads them in choir practice for their performances on the third Sunday of each month. They will practice for 20 minutes.
Please come to grow and deepen your faith. Our founder, Martin Luther encouraged us to continue learning and growing in our faith our entire lives.
All are welcome!
